Creative Critical Reflection

 1. How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?

My group's product challenges conventions by having a lower price. Most drinks are at least a few dollars but Arizona Iced Tea is known for being only 99 cents. The cheap price point that Arizona Iced Tea has allows poorer social groups to still enjoy the product.

2. How does your product engage with audiences AND how would it be distributed as a real media text?

Our product engages with audiences by being colorful, tropical and overall satisfying to all peoples' 5 senses; something that everyone enjoys. It would be distributed as a real media text through ads on platforms such as YouTube and other streaming apps.

3. How did your production skills develop throughout this project?

My production skills developed through this project exponentially. I gained large quantities of knowledge on filming techniques and I also gained experience through editing the commercial.

4. How did you integrate technologies- software, hardware and online- in this project?

My group used an iPhone 13 Pro to film the entirety of the commercial. We attached the iPhone 13 Pro to a tripod to film shots from angles that were not previously possible. Lastly, my group edited our commercial on the iPhone 13 Pro using the app "CapCut".
